Experience an adventure in the Golden Land Myanmar with the Triumph motorcycle tour in South East Asia.

 Starting out of Chiang Mai and weaving through northern Thailand, we enter Myanmar at the Mae Sot/Myawaddy border gate where few westerners go further than Myawaddy.  The first overnight is in Hpa-An, a quiet town and our hotel is nestled among limestone cliffs.  We ride on deeper into the country to Tuangoo and relax at our hotel enjoying local cuisine poolside.  Riding on over beautiful mountains and high elevations for southeast Asia, we arrive at Inle Lake. A full day at beautiful Inle Lake at 900m ASL with a boat tour to explore the pristine lake area, floating villages, a 5-day-rotation-minority market ‘Mine Thauk’ and the amazing Indein! Your afternoon is free and a visit to Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery might is possible. Riding more switchback roads, we enter Mandalay for a night alongside the Irrawaddy River.  Next stop is Bagan and its massive amount of temples which we’ll take an afternoon tour of a few. An optional early morning balloon flight over the temple complex is possible the following day.

Riding southbound, we’ll pass small villages and remote temples to arrive in Pyay – which means Country in Burmese. We ride further south and skip over the top of Yangon Division (no bikes allowed in Yangon!) to Bago.  Riding a little further south, we have our last night in Mawlamyine, the former capital of Burma and a sleepy town along the Salween River.  Our last ride day in Myanmar retraces our inbound route and we ascend over the mountains back to Mae Sot. Our ride takes us to Ayutthaya, a sister site to Bagan for the night and leads to the final ride to Chon Buri.

Few riders have entered Myanmar and only a handful of riders have completed the central Myanmar loop tour!
