DAY 7: Zion to Vegas

TRIUMPH VIDEO DAY 7

Last day of riding... Sad but true, the tour is coming to an end! Although we have already had so many wonderful sights during this trip, one more highlight is awaiting us: Valley of Fire, an astonishing state park not far from Vegas, created with uplift and erosion, ranging from white to dark red and nearly black rocks.

Some more shotes taken by our professional photo/video team...

Photographer Brad posing...

Nice twists...

Almost there, only 30 miles to Vegas...

And everyone back! Happy and safe... what a WONDERFUL trip with an AMAZING company!

The last evening is very special, we are going to the "Rodizio Experience" dinner at the Brazilian Restaurnat in The Mirage, and afterwards a fabulous show is awaiting us! "Love" based on Beatles music, arranged by the great acrobats of Cirque du Solein... could we have a better way to end this unforgettable Triumph tour? Thanks to everyone for putting up such a lovely group!! We are gonna miss you!

DAY 6 Bryce Canyon to Zion

TRIUMPH VIDEO DAY 6

The tour is starting to get closer to Vegas but we still have plenty of highlights. In the morning we drive trough Bryce Canyon and its red/orange hoodoos (pinnacles carved by water stream), spending some time at Rainbow View, at 9,105 feet (2,775 m).

Our busy video team is interviewing the English winner, Martin, and his wife Chris.

Martin in his memorable pose...

Elisabeth, French winner, in her own thoughts while admiring the neverending panorama.

Sam, Japanese winner, in a typical ninja pose. After the shot he did a triple back flip and landed with a head stand on the rock pillar.

Cheeeese everyone!!!!

Natural Bridge is another jaw dropping piece of rock...

Time to ride a bit more, only 90 miles between us and Zion... and more pinnacles invite us for a quick photo stop.

Entering Zion National Park, ready for... 4, no, even more, 5 hairpins!!

Last break before reaching our fabulous hotel at the feet of these pink cliffs.

DAY 5 Arches to Bryce Canyon

Today the ride is long and will be a surprise for everyone. The morning starts with an unforgettable breakfast with a grand view over the Colorado river and the mountains surrounding it, followed by the San Rafael Deserts and then by the Capitol Reef Park.

These rock formations seem created with sand by a baby giant...

Scene from a movie? Even better... we are riding them!

Our video team back in full force with the new Drone! You should check out the video of Day 4 as soon as it's gonna be published, it's incredible!

Panoramic views over Capitol Reef.

Curves after curve we reach 3.000 m (9,000 ft), crossing Dixie forest.

Raf being interviewed...

And Ed having a break over a stunning background.

Time for a quick meditative moment for Car...

DAY 4 Monument Valley to Arches (Moab)

TRIUMPH VIDEO DAY 4

Arriving near Monument Valley last night was just the prelude of another fantastic ride. Leaving Kayenta and crossing the Navajo Nation direction north is absolutely astonishing. The landscape get better and better after each mile, turning into a painted scene from a Western movie we set our feet on the terrace overlooking the Valley.

We have got even a Japanese Ranger (Sam) and a French Sheriff!

Arches National park is getting closer, as you can see passing by Wilson Arch.

Ride done, now it's time for a great hike to delicate Arch, everyone in? Of course!!

Still a bit before reaching the summit...

You better watch your step here...

The walk receives a big reward... Delicate Arch is a marvel of nature.

Martin happily posing after reaching the Arch.

Only a few miles to ride, and here we are, in a beautiful lodge surrounded by red cliffs and the Colorado River.

Hard to beat such a scenery, pure perfection...

DAY 3 Grand Canyon to Monument Valley

TRIUMPH VIDEO DAY 3

The morning breeze reminds us that we are waking up over 2000m (6000 ft), right at the entrance of the Grand Canyon on the South Rim. This is gonna be a mind blowing day. The canyon here is over a mile deep, showing sheer cliffs characterized by strata of 2 billions years of geological history. Anything can be admired (and studied), from schists to sandstone formations, passing trough basalts, limestone, and many more...

Rodrigo and Fermando (Spanish twins) posing for us.

Wolfgang, Simon, Manuel, Rainer and Ed at Mather Point.

Probably the last picture of the drone of out camera team... after a proud flight it has been sadly lost of sight because of the strong wind. In a remote future it will be surely found, somewhere in this endless rocky desert.

Rainer and Stefanie at the Visitor Centre.

Have a look at the size of this gigantic Navajo taco... For a reason the menu lists them under "legendary plates".

After lunch the horizon becomes wider and wider... Here we are taking a kodak moment near Red Lake (dry of course).

DAY 1 & 2 Arrival in Las Vegas and then to Tusayan (Grand Canyon)

TRIUMPH VIDEO DAY 1

TRIUMPH VIDEO DAY 2

Ladies and Gentlemen,

that's the magical day! The special "Triumph Rides America" tour has started! Among dozens of thousands participants from all around the world Triumph has selected a fantastic group of winners that will have the chance to enjoy a spectacular motorcycle dream travel on the new Thunderbird LT across Southwest USA: Nevada, Arizona and Utah will be on our route.

We start in the City of Lights, the incredible Las Vegas... where anything can happen.

Here they are... lots of shiny ladies ready to go for a ride! Which one would you pick? Blue and pearl or red and black?

The group is getting excited to start the 1700cc twin cylinders... but before that it's time for the daily briefing!

Of course Elvis wanna join us! What a beautiful day for starting a ride along Route 66...

Our great and omnipresent camera team (Brad, Chad, Eldad) follows us like movie stars, and they do an amazing job!

A nice portrait of this great piece of motorbike technique... this Thunderbird LT handles as well as it looks...

Tour guides Ed (USA) and Manuel (Italy) posing for some vintage shots...

And just before hitting the Mother Road 66, let's go to visit its museum!

Even lunch is in style, today is like jumping back in the glorious past of the 50ies...
