After a successfull first tour Manuel and me were looking forward to the new group coming in on Sunday: seventeen customers, twelve from the US and five from Germany - everbody looking forward to a great week. Even the weather forcast wasn't good for this week, we managed to get around the rain on the first two days.
Beautiful Alesund
Day 1: going to Runde, Norway's third largest bird colony, we experienced the first fery ride out of many
Where are the birds?
Day 2: Atlanticvegen, the Atlantic Road, connecting a group of small islands by seven bridges
Day 3 was full of good riding along endless fjords. The weather turned out to be better than the forecast, only towards the end of the day we got some rain.
Day 4 took us to Geirangerfjord, one of the most spectacular fjords of Norway. On a one hour boat trip we learned about waterfalls and abandoned farms.
The German part of the team
Day 5: The trolls on Trollstigen were hiding there home in fog, so there was not too much to see. Descending towards the south we hit "strawberry country" - yummy!
Sharp turns on Trollstigen
Yummy, yummy.....
Our international crew......
....and one of the happy tourguides
Thanks to all of you, it was a great tour!
