FINAL DAY - RONDA to MALAGA

Already the last day of the tour! Still trying to digest the "litlle" tapas dinner yesterday , we got on our bikes in Ronda under a very nice autumn sun and mostly blue skies. The ride of today is down to the Mediterranean coast up to Ronda again on a great twisty road adn then the last part direction south east doen to Malaga again.

What a day! curves, cures and more curves! So obviously we are in motorcycle paradise! By the time we were back in Ronda aea it was time for a nice and relaxing lunch because of all the twisty works, everybody got hungry again (well, more or less!)

After lunch most took an extra layer out and so we began our descent to Malaga through a couple of unique villages , the so called Pueblos Blancos.

A last coffee with a spledid view, last fuel stop and in the late afternoon it was time to handover the bikes back to the tourguides!

Happy to see Bryan and Catherine again (with passports) so the entire group was ready for the final dinner and goodbyes! A nice debriefing outside in thehotel garden made the tour complete!

Thanks to this wonderful mix of people with all their stories and laughter and fun! You were great!

See you hopefully all next time somehere on the road again with Edelweiss!

DAY 5 - RESTDAY RONDA

Today a nice and easy day for everyone: some were on their own down to Gibraltar, others with the tourguide on a nice ride around Ronda, and others stayed in town to enjoy everything Ronda had to offer

Because our "Tico's" had a bit of a copious lunch at Gibraltar, they decided to have "only a bit of tapas somehere" . That turned out again into a gastronomic fest!

All together it was a great day for everybody!

DAY 3 - ANTEQUERA to ARCOS de la FRONTERA

Today was a pretry challenging riding day. Starting from the hotel up to El Torcal was the first one: very thick mist took our view away! Back onmlower grounds it became better but after a visit to a nice spot at a lake and a great ride along the gorge of El Chorro and also a very nice lunchspot, the Spanish weather gods decided to give us some rain for the rest of the day and night. But an early happy hour at the beautiful hotel in Arcos made us soon forget this!k

DAY 1 - MALAGA to GRENADA

And so the second Andalusia tour of this year has taken off!. All the bikes lined up in front of our start hotel always makes everybody eager to go on the bike. And so we did! With an comfortable temperature we started the day immediately out of town with a very nice curvy and climbing road direction north. With a pretty extended coffee stop due to some fuel problems with one of the bikes we followed our way a bit more north and then down to the coast again where we had a really nice ride directly next to the seashore. A late but very relaxed lunch brought up the holiday feeling at everyone! The final part was up north again in the direction of the Sierra Nevada which already has some snow on the highest tops. After all a good day to start this nice tour!

How nice to wake up with a view like this and start the day with an Edelweiss tour!
Nice line up in front of our hotel
