Last day: back to Erding
Today is already our last riding day. We had a great time with the best riding weather you could pray for and a lot of sightseeing.
We will ride from Kaprun back to Erding where we started. On our way we will see the highest waterfalls of europe, we will make a stop at the Achensee where we enjoy our prepared picknick , the we stop by the Syvlenstein damm which was build almost 70 years ago and then we will enjoy an easy ride through the bavarian country side back to Erding.
The Krimmler waterfalls

Lunch time at Achensee, wow what a view.
Better late than never: the original, genuine, one-of-a-kind Edelweiss Picnic.
Sylvenstein damm
James and Daisy enjoy the view at the sylvenstein damm.
A day of 'rest' in Kaprun...
Today is a rest day for those who want. No need to leave the spa hotel if you don't feel so.
But as we go to the Grossglockner alpine road nobody wants to stay at the hotel.
We offer a long and a short ride to make everybody happy...and it worked!
spectacular panorama from the Edelweißspitze, 2500 m above sea level
Pasterze, Austria's largest glacier. Or what's left of it.
Here's how the glacier changed over the last 150 years
The throttel junkies also known as Andrew, Cal, James and Daisy having a really great time with Tom on the long route.
After a nice morning ride it's time for a coffee stop and a delicious "Apfelstrudel".
Looking at the size of the Apfelstrudel it's probably a coffee and lunch stop...
Day 3: Gmunden (A) - Kaprun (A)
The sky walk and the "World Heritage View"
Right after this picture was taken Cal started looking for new sunglasses....
What a spectacular location for the official group picture!
This tower was built in 1284 by Emperor Rudolf to guard his precious salt mine
While the Brazilians were wandering the salt mine the Americans (and the Australian!) took to the roads. Spectacular roads! And this was our lunch place. Just awesome!
Day 2: Salzburg (A) - Gmunden (A)
boot beer time!!!
Day 1: Erding (D) - Salzburg (A)
A beautiful morning in Erding, the rain and most of the clouds have disappeared over night. 9 Brazilians and 5 Americans leave the parkinig garage and head out to discover Bavaria and Austria on a one-week tour...
View of the beautiful medieval town of Wasserburg
A boat takes us to an island named Herreninsel, which means Men's Island. Ladies are welcome, too. One of Bavaria's top tourist attractions awaits us there.
King Ludwig's castle Herrenchiemsee is a copy of Versailles. It remained unfinished, though.
Fall has also arrived in salzburg, just wonderful isn'it...?
The Getreidegasse, or Corn Alley, in Salzburg. Mozart was born here in 1756. We spend the night in this amazing city.
The "Stiftskulinarium St. Peter" first opened it's doors to guests in the year 803 AD. 1200 years of cooking experience should guarantee a great meal
We thought about ordering this wine to celebrate the occasion. But then, for some reason, nobody could locate their credit cards...
