This special High Alpine Tour was customized for a group of Brazilians doctors and turned out to be a real Alpine Adventure tour:
We are already half way through! Before we started our adventure in Erding most of the group had spent a few days in Munich. Three couples decided to take the Riding Class to be prepared for what's coming up. After the handover of the bikes (which was a little chaotic) we gathered in the briefing room, listening to what I told them. Looking at pictures of the tour there was an “oh” and “ah” going through the crowd – for some it looked like an impossible challenge.
And everybody was thrown in the High Alpine Adventure the next day. Großglockner as the first big target, a road climbing towards the sky in an outstanding environment and landscape. Day 2 took us through the Dolomites, an incredible area with even more incredible roads. Manuel, our other tourguide served a picnic of the finest on over 2000m altitude in a surrounding that is hard to beat. We deserved the restday in Bolzano, but nevertheless we took a trip to Lago di Garda to experience real “Italian flair”. Todays ride was supposed to show us the Queen of Passes, Passo di Stelvio, but there is still too much snow up there. So we got to see Glurenza and Livigno instead.
All in all – nothing to complain about!
Beautiful Großglockner
