Day 3 We split into two groups again. Splinter group Innsbruck. We head off into the morning mist riding the surrounding valleys with heavey rain threatening. We reached Kühtai ski area and the sun is shining.
The cows are out in force walking the roads.
A visit to the Bergisel Olympic Ski Jumping arena, that towers over Innsbruck. Notice the grave yard at the bottom of the slope!
Robert trying to use this young lads skis, for a practice jump.
Enjoying the sun, coffee stop in Glurns
It's only day two of the Alps Touring Center and the two groups already went to ride world-famous Passo dello Stelvio, the Queen of Alpine Roads. It was a long and eventful day, not to be forgotten any time soon!
The famous church tower of Graun
Seasoned Edelweiss travellers will certainly recognize this gentleman: celebrity sausage bbq master chef Bruno, serving his world famous sandwiches at the top of Passo Stelvio.
Khaled and Len were thrilled!
Jim and Janet, celebrating their arrival at the top of Stelvio with a fully loaded "Bruno's Special". Yummy!!!
Al wouldn't mind this beautiful day to be his personal groundhog day...
We would like to welcome all 28 Edelweiss tour guests to the Alps Touring Center, Seefeld, Austria.
On this tour we have people from America, Canada, Kuwait and Germany.
Due to the size of this tour group, each day we split into 2 groups and head out. It's been a wet start to the trip with light showers on and off through out the day. Put still managed a full days riding.
