ADVENTURE OF THE GRAND ALPS (CGA 1102) Last part

Saturday, June 18, 2011 | Markus Hellrigl | Europe

The last days were extended experience of the past ones: more switchbacks, more outstanding scenery, more good riding. Heading for Passo Stelvio we hit rain, fog, low temperatures. But everyone made it to the top and got awarded with Bruno's famous sausages.

Only 48 to the top

Spectacular view in the Dolomites

After a rest day in Bolzano we were heading through the Dolomites towards Austria's highest mountain, Großglockner.

Thanks to the "men only group" for great two weeks!

So it may be nearly a decade later, but I finally uploaded photos I took from CGA1102 in 2011: https://www.flickr.com/photos/spacelama/albums/72157626831455433/

Hi well this year will have at least one woman. I have looked through here it looks cold so think thermals will need to be packed which will be funny as we are doing a Greek Island Cruise first with shorts/summer dresses. It looks fabulous, can't wait. Oh yes and not a pillion, I will be riding.
