well there was a very important mission that had to be handled. So Edelweiss sent me to Sturgis South Dakota to represent and premote our first class awesome tours.

I could not think of a better place to come and represent the company. STURGIS the world famous and biggest baddest HARLEY DAVIDSON event on the planet....it all started in 1938 actaually. When four friends made an annual journey to meet and ride in the Black Hills........ today after 75 years they expect up to 1.3 MILLION to attend this event. And believe me....it is jam packed with bikes, bikers, babes, concerts and EXCELLENT riding... Maybe the bosses will decide to run a tour over here next summer. I can certainly suggest a great tour guide for the tour if it happens.

I love this event, and it certainly is great to see old friends I have been here with over the past 15 years or so.............. THIS IS HARLEY DAVIDSON COUNTRY....and Harley Davidson with Edelweiss is a team that cannot be beat...

it is NOT all about partying, rock n roll, and hotties in Sturgis. There is a reason why people come here.....the riding is excellent...the Black hills, Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse Memorial Iron Mountain Road, Devils Tour Wyoming, Bad Lands National Park......... or Vanocker Canyon.. where I stopped for a minute to grab a photo of fellow HARLEY riders cruising in to Sturgis.........

LEGENDARY........ the man who bought Harley Davidson back from AMF........ and recreated the best and most stylish motorcycles on the planet............

I am not riding this year......and I am perfectly ok with that......my body needs some days off.......however, I do have some old pictures to share....give you all an idea of how it is in this area........GOOD STUFF!!!!!!!!!!

Eric Schmitt.......... the Global Manager of Harley Rentals and Tours and Edelweiss' direct link to Harley Davidson hung out with me all day today (Wednesday) to promote tours.....and MAN were we busy...the busiest day so far......... I am telling you.....this cooperation between Edelweiss is going to be successful. We are two very enthusiastic guys....and the folks that come talk to us can feel that. ADVERTISING at its best!!

NO trip to Sturgis is complete without getting a ride in...the guys from H-D let me take this beauty for a spin....and Katy is not bad lookin either!!!!!!!

SATURDAY AUGUST 8th......... The last official day of the 75th STURGIS rally.....and MAN OH MAN,,,,it has been a busy week. I have spoken with so many people from so different parts of the USA and the world. It has been a great experience, and there is a growing interest in Edelweiss HARLEY DAVIDSON tours. I think i will see a few familiar faces next touring season in Europe. With the propper advertising and exposure we will have a steady flow of enthusiastic riders joining us on tour. Harley Davidson once again has proved to be a true FIRST CLASS organization through their help and support over the past week. I truly enjoy working with these folks from Milwaukee, they share the same excitment and enthusiasm I do when it come to riding. Just want to say thanks to EVERYONE at HD for having us be a part of HARLEY DAVIDSON AUTHORIZED tOURS.... and thanks to ALL the folks at the Edelweiss office in Mieiming for sending me over to STURGIS, you gave me an opportunity to learn more about the motor cycle industry, meet new folks and generate interest in our FIRST CLASS tours, BEST of all. I got to see from friends that i have know from this event over the past several years, not to mention my friends that came here from the fine city of DENVER, Colorado that have been a part of my life for a long time............see you at FAAKER SEE for EUROPEAN BIKE WEEK next month..................................
