Saturday, March 26, 2016 | Pablo Piferrer / Marc Adamiak | The World Tour
As the sun rises, we set road towards playa hermosa. A total 250 kms of mainly off road. Palm trees, rivers and lost towns. When you get to playa hermosa, you really understand why it's called like that.
What a beautiful day awakes and the road ahead to San Jose is a calm series of roads to a beautiful hotel.
Due to Some technical dificulties, Mirko had to leave for Germany, and another tour guide would take his place in the following days...
Stay tuned to see who it is!!
After a very long first ride to David (due to the dock discharging of the vehicles) we were ready to take on our first full ride to Uvita in Costa Rica, therefore, we had our first border crossing of the tour.
On our way, we were at a coffee plantation enjoying the first coffee of the tour. The beautiful views, the great coffee and the perfect weather.... what more could we ask for.
As we arrived at the first border, they had just stoped for luch, and so, instead of waiting around, we made our way to the next one on some beautiful winding roads through a forest.
Buenos dias from Panama! The sun is hot, not a cloud in the sky, this is like paradise. But, it isn't all fun and pools and a nice refreshing beer, there is work to do if we want to ride in these beautiful countries lined up ahead of us, so let's get to it!
We started the first two days organising the paper work for the docks so as to be able to discharge all our vehicles, three copies here, three over there, more from this one.... in the end, we had it all!!
Ahead of us laid 3 days inside the docks, to discharge all the vehicles coming from 3 parts of the world timed precisely to meet at one point, the Manzanillo dock in Colón.
In the afternoon of the 9th of March, finally, we were able to start the tour towards David and so began the new adventure.
