Alps & Lakes Special Tour welcomes our Chinese Friends "Wing Riders" from Shanghai

New Adventure for the Shanghai Wings Rider who are conquering Bavaria, the southern part of Germany as well as the high Alpine roads of Austria

Arrival Day

Everybody is listening carefully since most have not been in Germany /Austria before
Some Administration work had to be done before the bikes can be handed over
and then.....enjoying the first original Bavarian food inclusive the famous Weizenbier

Day 1:  Erding to Salzburg

Lunchstop was the Chiemsee which is known as well as the Bavarian "Sea".
we arraived ontime in Salzburg and were able to see all its beauty, like the Dome for example.
and a must see in Salzburg is the birth house of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart-in the Getreidegasse
Another highlight of the day was the Mozart Dinner.....
Tourguide Chris loved it.....
so did Kim
and the entire group.

Day 2: Salzburg to Gmunden

Before we started the route of the day we stopped at a Bike shoop in Salzburg and surprised the owner when he opened his shop at 9:00 am.

The famous Eagles Nest on top of the Mountain, and with a lot history.
The entire group had quite some fun although it was a bit chilly...

Day 3: Gmunden to Kaprun

Ready to go... Lining up on the Marketplace of Gmunden
After a wonderful ride via Bad Ischl we arrived in......
Hallstatt, which has a special attention for our Wing Riders
Sight seeing and shopping makes hungry therefore it was a perfect timing for our famous Picknick
Chris is preparing and cutting the "Leberkaes"...
and it seems to be delicious
What a coincident we arrived just in time of a firebrigade festival in a very little village called Muehlbach am Hochkoenig..... and as you imagine we draw a lot of attention......and the boys and the locasl had a lot of fun
After n exciting day with a lot of impressions, Bikes are parked and we arrived safely in Kaprun.

Day 4: Restday Kaprun

Highlight of the day. Grossglockner or "White Mountain" called by the Wings Rider.
a quick break to enjoy the spectaular view of the mountains

The Grossglockner with a hight of 3789 msl. An spectacular peak and the highest of the austrian alps.

ZHE and HAIFENG enjoy a romatic boat trip on the lake of zell

a coffee in "Zell am See" complete this perfect riding day

Day 5: Kaprun to Erding

First Coffee stop at the Pillersee.
Sudelfeldpass at the German Alpenstrasse, We were very lucky with the weather
Unfortunatly everything has an end, even this wonderful tour, however we do hope to see you soon on one or the other tour. It was a pleasure guiding you through the Alps and Lakes, Cheers, Pierre & Chris
