Time flies when you are having fun!

Last day already of this fantastic week of fun in the sun in the Ulitmate Alps motorcycle tour! And what a great week it was. Fantastic riders in a fantastic group!

And also the final day of the tour was drenched in sunshine all the way down to Mieming again. After four more passes (who was counting them again this week??) we took the last bump into the Inn valley back to the sunshine plateau of Mieming

Thanks everyone for your great companionship, humor ( especially Brian with his non-stop joke stock!) and great riding skills

What a bright and sunny day again. Seems like the Alp weather Gods like us very much this week.

And so what a great day of riding it was. For most of the group this was the ultimate day of the ulitmate alps tour. Riding through the Dolomites was today then indeed awesome! They couldnt get enough of this day so it didn't look like a rest day anymore.

After coming back and having a refreshing dip in the pool we walked downtown to have a super nice dinner in a real south-tyrolean Biergarten!

Great end of a great day

it seems we can'tget enough beautiful weather! Today on the program is a relatively short ride to the biggest city of South-Tyrol: Bolzano. A nice and fairly easy southern loop brought us through via the coffeestop in Stenico close to the monestary of San Romedio. On a nice shaded spot just beneath the monestary , tourguide Angela this time prepared us a real south Tyrolean picnic. After this good experience we foolowed our way with a little bit more northern loop towards Bolzano.

Due to the heat most of us took the time to. take a dip in the pool or just hung around it with a refreshing drink.

Very nice day which was concluded with a excellent dinner outside in the hotel garden

What an incredible day it was today! What could someone wish more than astonishing mounatin views, sunny  and clear blue skies, views as if from a postcard, great lunchspot with delicious italian/swiss food? 

Today was such a day! Half of the group did the long route and other half did the short one. `Tired but in a great mood the whole group gathered again in Brunnen at the Vierwaldstattersee to enjoy the great view over this lake and last but not least: also dinner a the lakeside.

We found a vehicle for everyone

Under a fantastic, clear blue sky, the tour members of the  fiirstUltimate Alps tour of this year are arriving one by one at our idyllic starthotel in Mieming, close to the headquarter of Edelweiss Bike Travel. Tourguide Angela took already Skip and John out today for a one day riding school to freahen up the riding skills for the Alp touring. After the bike handover and the welcome dinner most of the crew were heading to bed to get rid of their jetlag. Tomorrow a nice day ahead!
