The High Alpine Tour No 4

Here we are... almost each continent is represented in our group. We do have visitors from Cyprus, Japan, Dubai, Australia, U.S: , Brasil and Canada. this looks like having real fun cruising through the Alps for the coming 6 days

Arrival Day

Welcome Briefing
and everybody is listening carefully... to get insights about culture and customs of the 5 coutires we will be riding through....starting from Germany via Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Liechtentsetin back to Germany.... and of course getting some tips how to tackle the thousands of curves and switchbacks which is ahead of us.

Day 1:  Erding to Lienz

After a great dinner the evening before, a good sleep and a wealhy breakfast... it now time to get the insights of the tour of today...

the only one who couldn¨t join....... missing some horsepower, but a pretty cool bycicle

Day 2: Lienz to Bolzano

Morning Briefing with Pianoman Wian
and then...conquering Italia......
and of course we needed to try the first italian Cappuccino and some guys could not resist to take as well an Applestrudel ...
After having gone through hundreds of curves already in the morning by driving up and down various passes on the way we to Bolzano, all were looking forward to the Picknick which has been provided by Thomas...... yummie...
After the picknick we took the chance to take the góndola at the Passo de Falzaego to have an spectacular view over the Dolomites.... simply breathtaking and hardly posible to describe
And here you see another Tourguide... representing an Austrain Mountain Soldier in 1915. During the 1st World War there has been heavy fights between the Italian Kingdom against the Austrian Hungrian Habsburger Kingdom.....

Day 3: Restday Bolzano

Day 4: Bolzano to Pontresina

What a surprise... coffeestop in Glurns and we met another Edelweissgroup and Hitohiko was very interested of the "Secrets of Japan " Tour

Already the last day. The Weather was a bit foggy but luckily we had not heavy rain
