Riding day 1 - Through the rain from Erding to Salzburg

Well, our bikes will have looked all sparkling and shiny for about... 5 minutes on this tour. After leaving Erding, the rain started and never really stopped again all the way until Prien am Chiemsee. There half the group decided to take a ferry ride with Malcolm and check out the castle of crazy king Ludwig, while the other half of the group preferred to continue straight to Salzburg with Wim, to go and spend an afternoon wandering around one of the prettiest old towns in the whole of Europe. Something for everyone on this first day!

Can't wait to go in October. Did anyone ride the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße this time around?
