Day 8, Klobenstein - Lienz

After a rainy day, the sun was shining again and everybody was eager to ride, so we decided to take the "full Dolomite experience", around 280 km of curves and wonderful landscapes that blowed our mind! Of course we could not miss the loop around Mt. Sella, one of the highlights of this region, and we also had time for a good picnic on passo Falzarego. Enjoy the pictures!

Day 7, Rest day Klobenstein

Today everybody decided to take a rest and not to ride, mostly because of the rain, so, after a relaxing morning in Klobenstein, in the afternoon we went to Bolzano (by train and cable car) for a little walk, some shopping and a good dinner in town. Tomorrow the Dolomites are awaiting us, so we needed some rest!

Day 6, Val di Sole - Klobenstein

A quite relaxing ride today, we rode around the Brenta mountain range passing through Madonna di Campiglio and then Stenico. Before lunch we visited the very interesting Santuario San Romedio, and then descended to Bolzano through the passo Palade. And then the last 15 kilometres from Bolzano to Klobenstein were among the nicest rides ever!

Day 5 - Lago di Como - Val di Sole

Again starting the day with a ferry ride. This time to cross Lago di Como and reach the Italian backcountry. To be exact to reach the single lane passes in there like Vivione. Unfortunetly the sky cried and it was hard to ride and not swim. Therefore the evening drinks were more than earned this time.

Day 4, Zermatt - Lago di Como

Leaving beautiful Zermatt, we used the train to reach the motorbikes that we had parked yesterday down in the valley. Then our beautiful ride started, we first reached the Sempione pass and then entered Italy to reach the Lago Maggiore where we had lunch. After crossing the lake on a ferry, we rode back into Switzerland near Lugano and then again back into Italy torhogh tiny curvy roads. Lake Como was the perfect place to relax after a long ride!

Day 3 - visit Monte Toblerone (Brunnen - Zermatt)

The day started with the relaxed ferry ride across the lake Vierwaldstätter. But after that the fun began, riding the scenic Sustenpass and Furkapass before slowly (we are in Switzerland!) cruising down in the valley for the last kilometres.

Day 2, Pontresina to Brunnen

Another long ride today, around 320 Km of sweepers and hairpins, and we even had to wait more than one hour for the road up to Spluga pass to open! Then add some rain and it will be easy to understand why in the evening we were all tired... but happy!

Day 1 - Straight into the adventure

A view of the Inn Valley from Garcher Blick, then through the Middle Ages on the roof of the tour. Day one is already full of highlights with the little town of Glurns and the big passes Stelvio and Gavia.
