Day 4 - Riding day - Dubrovnik to Kotor

Today the whole group decided they want to spend some sightseeing time in Dubrovnik, and so all went down in downtown Dubrovnik to stroll in between the old city walls and sucking up the ancient atmosphere of this beautiful city.

After lunch and coming back to the start of the ride, Wilson found out that he left his mobile phone in the taxi, so it took us a bit more time to start off. And more unluck was coming up, because on our way to Kotor in Montenegro, the government shut down the main road for 6 months for renovation. So after some searching and hearing some people , we found a reasonable quiet bordercrossing and followed our way to the awesome bay of Kotor , also UNSECO heritage, to spend our night in a very nice and friendly hotel. In the meantime the wind was really stormy, so only a couple of bravehearts among us, took a short walk downtown, but got back within 10 minutes. So a good time to hop early into bed, to get fresh for the morning ride into Bosnia-Herzegovina

Day 3 - riding day 2 - Hvar to Dubrovnik

What a pity that we had to leave this beautiful gem of Croatia: Hvar! But all good things come to an end , so at 08.30 we walked to our bikes in order to get the ferry back to the mainland. Bit since there was a huge motorbike ralley there were already a lot of vehicles and motorcycles waiting for the ferry. But luckily they scheduled extra ferries so with a little delay the whole group was complete again

Day 2 - riding day 1 - Split to Hvar

And so it was there: the start of the Pearls of the Adriatic tour! And rightaway on the first riding day we found a real pearl: the island of Hvar. Well known by the jet-set but still not as poshy as Monte Carlo. Hvar city has some very nice and secluded bays with a lot of activities going on in the evening and night. Situated very idyllic with a big fortress overlooking the city it has a natural charm. First part of the day we rode along the Makarska riviera and after a 30 minute ferry ride we had about 50 km of free ride left, over very nice pavement and super nice curves. Finallized with a great dinner overlooking the harbour bay, we concluded this amazing day in Croatia

Enchanting atmosphere in Hvar ‘s harbour
The Brasilian gang
Nice line up at coffee stop in Stari Grad
Super dinner with harbour view

Day 1 - Arrival day - Split, Croatia

What a nice day for the preparation of this tour. Starting from downtown Split in Croatia on just a 2 minute walk from the Adriatic sea, we can imagine that there are worser places in the world to start this wonderful tour, which will take us through three countries : Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Most of our customers came in already yesterday to get rid of their jetlag and to explore the beautiful ancient center of this coastal city. After the welcome briefing and the bike handover, we will have our first dinner together and then getting ready for the first riding day!!

Amazing night view from hotel roof terrace
