Colorful Morocco "The Harley way to discover the Orient"

Here we are for the most excitng Tour of the year for all of us. We all will ride with Harleys Davisdsons for the next 2 weeks through Spain and Morocco and will see nice oriental cities, wil pass the Atlas Mountain and we will step our foot into the desert. Nice group of Harley riders from the U.S, Luxemburg and Germany wil be a perfect mix to cruise through North Africa.

Day 1: Malaga to Chefchouen

What a great start. We left from Malaga via Gibralatar to Ceuta and arrived safely in Chefchouen

Day 2: Chefchouen to Fes

Day 4: Restday incl Desert Trip.

 Fantastic day ride from our hotel in Erfoud in to the Sahara Desert......    Camels, sand, sun and fun....   What a great day!!

Day 5: Xaluca to Boulmane

Another fantastic day..    great sun....great scenery...  Great times..

Day 6: Boulmane to Ait Ben-Haddou

Another great sunny Riding day on the south side of the Atlas Mountain... Highlight today of course was the switchbacks up to the Gorges de Dades.

Day 7: Ait Ben-Haddou to Marakech

Today we leave the desert and will pass the High Atlas into the dircetion of Marakech. The route will be leading us over the Tizi Tchika Pass (2270m )

Day 8: Restday Marakech

What a great day the entire group was going to discover Marakech. We started to go to the Jardin de Majorelle where Yves Saint Laurent is burried. Afterwards we went to the Bahia Palace to see how a Primeminsiter lived 200 years ago. From there we went to the famous Minarett and the further to the tannery where you see the hard work of those guys. Strolling through the Souks and finally we went to a "Berber's pharmacy" and learned everything about Argan Oil, Safran, herbes and tea´s..... After all this walks and impressions we then got a late lunch around 3:00 pm on the rooftop high abve the city... What a great day

Day 9: Marakech to Bin el Quidane

The tour and riding just get better and better....more sun, more fun....and great, well, EVERYTHING....even a quick stop at the brand new Harley Dealership in Marrakech...   the roads here are amazing.   

Day 10: Bin el Quidane to Meknes

Day 11: Meknes to Chefchouen

Another fantastic day.....   Hard to believe we are already back in Chefchaouen.....it is our last fulll day in an amazing country.....  Tomorrow, Spain!

Day 12: Chefchouen to Ronda

Today was already the last night in Morocco.... with a bit misty weather we went back over the border, took the Ferry to Algeciras and had a beautiful ride up to Ronda.

Day 13: Ronda to Malaga

The final day of this great was entirely in Spain......where the rain does not mostly stay on the plain...   Non the less, it was a fun ride....   Spain is a fantastic motorcycle destination...but that is for another blog.....adios amigos....thanks for a fantastic ride...     

Farewell Dinner

We had fabulous 14 days with amzaing views, rides and impressions, an unforgettable memory. It was a real pleasure and honor to ride with you guys and hope to see you soon somewhere somehow...... Have a safe trip home.

yes indeed a lot of memories are coming up, you can imagine the attraction we are producing arriving with 11 Harleys through the cities, mountains and desert.
I will post soon a pictuere with "my" Harley.
