Day 9 - Pompeii and Amalfitana

In the morning we visited the ancient town of Pompeii

in the afternoon we enjoyed with our bikes the spectacular Amalfitana coast

Day 8 - From Maratea to Pompeii

Day 7 - From Tropea to Maratea

Today the weather was not best -but we saw a vortex - in Europe very rare

Day 6: From Taormina to Tropea

Day 5: rest day in Taormina

Today we don't need to pack and move on to another place. We spend in fact two nights here in Taormina and thus we have a chance to ride up and down the Etna. The morning sun greets us from the breakfast terrace but later on the mighty peak of Etna is surrounded by fog. 

In the evening we dine at a famous seafood restaurant in the village where they filmed the Godfather.

Day 4: Cefalù to Taormina 

After spending the night on the north coast today we are heading back east, closing thus our Sicilian loop. The morning ride is a cruise along the coast, followed then by a twisty ride across Park of Nebrodi. Our lunch is today at the feet of Etna, amidst dark rocky field of solid lava.

In the afternoon we roll along the coast north of Taormina, soaking in the picturesque gulf embracing Giardini Naxos. 

Day 3 - From Agrigento to Cefalu

First a temple visit in Agrigento

Prizzi - the "Family" town
Manuel prepared meanwhile a yummy picnic
Beside we are testing our Edelweiss Van for the upcoming Enduro Tours next year

and then a tasty dinner

Day 2 - From Catania to Agrigento

Day 1: Getting ready + Welcome Briefing

Welcome to Sicily! The season is slowly starting fade but here in southern Italy we still have quite a few tours running. Today we are greeting another group of friends from China, all eager to explore Sicily and the other souhern regions of Italy.
