Our Extreme Group ready for adventure

Day 1 - Arrival day

Everybody made it to our start hotel in Almeria in time.

A group of enthusiastic motorcycle riders:

Peter, Vilnis, Allan, Ken, Ben and Tom from the US, Erik from Canada and Christian from Germany.

Day 2 - Almeria - Aroyo Frio - 370 km

The first day  was quite exciting. We had a breakdown in the morning and Peter did a great job as a tourguide and brought the group safe to the hotel,   while I was getting a new bike in Malaga. We met late at night and the group was doing really well. The temperature was close to 0 degrees today,  that means really cold!

Day 3 - Restday Aroyo Frio - 180 km

Because of the rain in the morning, only 4 restless riders decided to go with me on that little loop through the Cazorla National Park. We were lucky and the rain stopped. We had a great day on challenging backcountry roads.

Day 4 - Aroyo Frio - Marmolejo - 360 km

Unfortunately another rainy day,  but the group did really well. In  some sections we even had dry roads and then it was a lo of fun to ride the narrow and twisty roads.

Hopefully the weatherforecast is right and we see the sun tomorrow.

Day 5 - Marmolejo - Alcaucin - 350 km

Finally the sun came back and we had a wonderful riding day through olive plantations and over several mountain ranges. The group could not get enough , so we added another loop.  What a great day!

Day 6 - Alcaucin - Calahora - 300 km

This day had the best riding you can imagine. All kinds of curves in great scenery. It was very intense, but the group really enjoyed it.

It is snow!!!!

Day 7 - Calahora - Almeria - 310 km

Unfortunately our last riding day. But what a day! 6 spectacular passes and countless curves. That was riding at its best. All riders did a great job on these challenging roads.

Hope to see you all on the next one!

Michael
