On a wonderful morning we start our last riding day towards Erding. We leave our dream hotel in Warth
To riding through the idyllic Lechtal. We enjoy the curves through the Namlos valley to stop at the beautiful Lake Plansee for acoffee stop.
The highlight of the day is the visit of the castle Linderhof by King Ludwig II.
Two major passes and two smaller ones today.
And we went to three different coutries. Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Austria.
From Italy to Switzerland over the world famous Passo di Stelvio, 48 tight hairpins in a row! And what a view from the top!!!!
Our first and only restday. But the group did not really want to rest. We did a great loop around Klobenstein, including the former uphill racetrack Passo Mendola. We were rewarded with a fantastic view from Penegal, where we had coffee.
Second day of riding, we start over the Pustertaler Höhenstrasse, the best warm up to the day.
Our coffe stop at the beautiful Misurina lake.
Winding roads lead us to the pass Falzzarego.
By gondola we climb the Refugio Lagazuoi.
What awesome view. continue on the Grödner Joch to Klobenstein, there we stay for two days .
Day 2 - Erding - Lienz - 305 km
What a first riding day. Perfect weather and perfect motorcycle roads. The Highligh was the Grossglockner High Alpine Road. Fantastic scenery and pure riding fun.
