Day 6 - Toblach to Mieming

Well, the last day was finally upon us - last but not least as the saying goes! We had a fantastic day of riding over Würzjoch with some great views back to the Dolomites, followed by Jaufenpass and Timmelsjoch

At the top of Timmelsjoch. What a view!
"The team" with the incredible view back towards the Dolomites from our hotel in Toblach
Kurt enjoys a coffee. And the view
Robert and Zvi making their way to the top of Jaufenpass
Wayne and Domenic in the Timmelsjoch motorcycle museum
Now that's an engine
The big 6!
What a fantastic display of motorcycles!

Day 5 - Levico Therme to Toblach

Today's ride took us through the incredible Dolomites - rock formations unlike anywhere else in the Alps, they make for an incredibly beautiful day of riding

Coffee stop - and Manghen Pass
Well, I guess motorcyclists are welcome here...
Passo di Rolle, and our first real view of the Dolomites
Robert, Tage and Zvi at Passo di Rolle
A very relaxing lunch stop at Passo di Duran
The most stunning of all the passes: Passo di Giao
And this is the view that greeted us from our hotel's terrace in Toblach. Just wow

Day 4 - A rest day ride to Lake Garda

A rest day for Edelweiss doesn't mean a day off the bikes - just a day in the same hotel! So a few of our number got back on their bikes for a sensational ride down to Lake Garda

The bikes and their pilots lined up on the switchback
What a view back down to Levico
Our first glimpse of Lake Garda
A view straight down from our lunch stop in Pieve
I think most of us were happy with the way the day was progressing

Day 3 - Penegal to Levico Therme

Today's ride took us through the apple orchids and vineyards of Italy's Alto Adige region. Simply stunning riding

A quick pit stop amongst the grapes
A coffee stop with great views over Lake Santa Guistina
A quick break by the lake mid way up Monte Bondone
Another corner with a view!

Day 2 - Fiss to Penegal

A quick ride across the border in Switzerland before we head onto Italy. And of course the mother of them all, Stelvio Pass!

The sunken church of Lake Reschen
And there she is, in all her curvy glory: Passo di Stelvio
More stunning mountain views

Day 1 - Mieming to Fiss

Our first day of riding took us from Mieming, the home of Edelweiss, to Fiss - along the way we conquered our first mountain pass; Kuhtai, took a ride down a gravity powered roller coaster, and visited a glacier. Not a bad way to start the trip!

Calvin ready to rock and ride!
Kurt getting his groove on
Wayne is very comfortable on his RS
Kuhtai is so named because of the cows (Kuh means cow in German), but it looks like the horses want in on the action too!
Great views welcome us at the top of Kuhtai
A traditional Austrian band plays at our lunch stop
The chairlift to the top of Imst
Team extreme ready to roller coast
Robert gets ready for the downhill
Great views from Gacherblick at the top of Pillerhöhe
The Inn valley, with the river Inn flowing down the middle
Oh what a beautiful morning!
