brave the rain was the concept

day 1 - first experience on twisty mountain roads

there was not only one black sheep
the only pictures we got - when it didn't rain
not much traffic under these conditions
St. Leonhard having lunch outside on the terrace !!!
getting ready for the next ascend
Passo Giovo - cloudy, foggy and rainy
Coffee brake in the heart of Vipiteno
Passo Penes with the remnants of last winter

day 2 - Dolomites with a little sun

ascending Passo delle Herbe
a few sunbeams gave us little hope
Chris and Sue on the brand new RT
Bill with the new KTM 890 Adventure
Valparola Pass with sun - from then no more
Passo Duran we were the only ones riding under these conditions
visibility bad, roads wet but the mood was still good

day 3 - plan B - Bolzano culture program

for safety reasons we decided not to ride. Plan B was going to Bolzano to do sightseeing and culture
Speck shopping
which one would you prefer
Ötzi's knife made out of flint stone with its holster - 5000 years old
having an umbrella was helpful but still got wet
Sigmundskron - Reinhold Messners Mountain Museum
walking between South Tyrolean History und the Himalaya there were a lot of steps
up and down and rain always with us
inside the cave with all kinds of minerals and crystals
soked we left to enjoy the wellness area at the hotel

day 4 - after rain comes ...... snow

if you think it can't get worse
hot chocolate or cappuccino always helps
Chris very much relaxed - Sue decided not to ride
the brave ones - Passo Lavaze 5900 ft
Bill had the heated grips turned on to the max
Chris on the RT - I was a bit jealous

day 5 - Lake Garda is waiting

next try - this day was the day with the least rain - but still not dry
cappuccino brake in rain gear
the good thing - no traffic
Chris and Sue on the perfect blue line
cloudy impressions
finally at Lake Garda - Riva
this low pressure area over Italy didn't seem to move
a Pizza at the lake did help a lot
Molveno Lake with our daily companions - the rain clouds
but anyway, it was a safe tour without any incidents
thank you - Bill, Chris and Sue - you were great
