We leave the beautifully situated hotel in Peramola and make our way to Andorra.
As ugly as the dwarf state of Andorra is, the excursion to the Mirador Roc del Quer is beautiful.
We leave Andorra behind us and reach the French Pyrenees.
Here, several highlights await us: Christoph's great picnic, the breathtaking pass road "Port de Pailheres", the drive through the sensational gorge of the river "Aude" and our destination, the medieval city of Carcassonne.
Shortly after the start, we visited the medieval village of Beget. One of the most beautiful villages we have ever seen.
From there we went to a beautiful lake in Banyoles for coffee.
And then we approached the coast. After lunch, we set off on one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world.
