After exploring the beautiful Arequipa, also known as the "White City", with its many colonial buildings and taking over our motorcycles, we spend the first two riding days on one of the world´s most famous roads: The Pan-American Highway with one of its most beautiful parts leads us to Puerto Inca and on to Nazca to the famous lines.
The well-maintained and little frequented road from Nazca with its endless curves brings us back into the Andes to Ollantaytambo and is already worth the journey. A very special day is waiting for us. In the soft light of the morning sunshine we take a panoramic train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu to explore these fascinating and scenically stunning ruins. Another cultural highlight is Cusco, the cradle and former capital of the Incas. In the following days we will marvel at the floating islands of the Uros on Lake Titicaca and visit the legendary Colca Canyon with its main attraction, the giant Andean condors. Our last day of riding takes us once again through this special kind of desert to Arequipa - you wish this motorbike tour would never end!

This was another amazing trip put together by Edelweiss Bike Travel and being served by its Canadian agent Farewell Travel Service! From wheels up to finish this is a motorcycle adventure for every kind of rider. We started with best coastal roads I have ever been on in the world. We then turned inland to mountain and desert riding much like the American west but without the traffic and some of the highest peaks you can ever get to via a motorcycle! Cusco and Arequipa are cities that rival any European towns near the Mediterranean and you can‘t leave out the amazing Machu Picchu! This adventure has something for everyone and should not be missed. Thank you!
